A few spots in the city center that we know are perfect for watching the football matches next month

The world will be captivated by the magic of football for a whole month. The opening of the European Championship in Germany will be on June 14, and the final on July 14, and for fans this means only one thing - occasions to meet for a drink to enjoy the game with like-minded people and relive the losses and victories of their favorite teams.

Of course, you can always relax in your own armchair, but watching football is an activity that definitely predisposes you to the company of other fans - sometimes to boo the referee together, and other times to shout ecstatically for your favorite team.

And here are a few spots in the city center that we know are perfect for watching the football matches next month:

Temple Bar

Located on the second floor of a Main Street building, adjacent to the Drama Theatre, Temple Bar offers quite a wide variety of beers and a perfect setting for watching sporting events together, with several screens to follow different matches.

Cat & Mouse LOCAL

The popular bar in the district not only attracts all the photo lenses and Instagram fans with its colorful facade, but also offers privacy rarely found in Kapana. Its main part is comfortably nestled between the buildings and is a perfect option for all those who want to escape from the noise and the crowd on the street. Cat & Mouse LOCAL has a main focus on the selection of quality beers and drinks that are produced in the region and are not mainstream and is a very natural extension of everyone’s beloved beer place in Kapana - Cat and Mouse.

A projector and 3-meter screen are already installed in the courtyard, making it the only place on our list with outdoor viewing.

Surely the place is well known to all the rock and metal fans under the hills. When there is no scheduled event, however, it is also an excellent opportunity to enjoy the European Championship and then play a game of foosball, for example. It's perfect for spending time with the boys!

Bally Club

In its 27 years of existence, Bally Club has welcomed thousands of customers to its iconic weekend parties and numerous people for a coffee or a drink during the week. The room is the size of a slightly larger living room, which makes it extremely cozy and suitable for exactly this type of gathering. And at halftime, you can always go to the balcony with a drink in hand to enjoy the view of the colorful Kapana on one side and to the Roman Stadium Square on the other.

BABA YAGA

The bar is located in one of the intersections of Main Street (Raiko Daskalov Street). It is on two floors and has quite a large space where you can play board games, darts, checkers and meet friends to watch football matches for example. The clientele is a mix of tourists, expats and locals – certainly diverse and interesting.
