And while only a year ago we were frantically looking for new places to try different flavors and leave home to eat something tasty, today the situation is completely different. The restaurants are still closed for consumption and our only option is home delivery. And since the weekends are for lounging and relaxing, our article today is dedicated to three options for a tempting breakfast, if you don’t feel like starting the day early with the pans and the kitchen.
Mekitsa § Coffee
We all love these fried temptations and there is no one who hasn’t eaten them in their childhood (most often in the village in granny’s house). However, when we grow up, there is no one to prepare and bring them to us in bed, and this is where the delivery from Mekitsa § Coffee comes to the rescue. They now offer a very convenient option, especially on weekends. Their package includes 4 large mekitsi with 3 fillings of your choice, 2 aromatic cups of coffee with milk and a healthy breakfast of muesli – just for balance. You can get all this even during the week without having to get out of bed - well, only to open the delivery guy!
Le Petit Paris
We haven’t included them in our articles for breakfast or brunch so far, but with the second lockdown, the restaurant has prepared for its customers a special brunch menu for Saturday and Sunday. It includes five absolute classics. Fluffy American pancakes with chocolate and strawberries for lovers of sweet things, benedict eggs with prosciutto and hollandaise sauce, quiche lorraine, the popular croque monsieur sandwich, and traditional scrambled eggs with butter and toasted bacon. We get hungry while we list them, and being delivered to the door in the early morning is even more tempting. You can order for delivery on weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Brioche Bakery and Pastry
We have included it in our ranking of our favorite bakeries and we continue to recommend that you try their freshly baked croissants as soon as possible. They were the first to start the wave with the brunch menu for delivery under the hills and since December they have been tempting us with specially prepared boxes over the weekend. For the time being, they have announced on their page that they are taking a break, but be sure to follow them when they resume orders. They prepare a great compilation of salty and sweet products and are an excellent variety and option for slow mornings.
We hope that soon the irresistible handmade doughnuts of Bluestone doughnuts will give us the option to order, because we just adore everything that comes out from under their skillful hands! And now we can leave you alone to wake up and decide where the next weekend breakfast will come from!
