Ski season seems to have begun to shift in our country and now starts in February. This is also the reason why today we have prepared for you several ideas for ski schools in winter resorts close to the city under the hills, so that you can enjoy the snow in the mountains this year. The instructors know how to teach you safety and proper habits while making sure you have fun on the slopes.
One of the places that is certainly suitable for beginner skiers is the area around Zdravets Hotel and Koprivki. They are also the fastest and most easily accessible from Plovdiv and are full of people on weekends. There is storage and a ski school in the Koprivki area. The price for 1 hour for the 2022/2023 season is BGN 50 in a group per person and BGN 80 for an individual lesson.
Ski storage and a teacher are also available at the eco-hotel. The prices are the same and include the use of free towing.
Hotel Transing is the other place in the area where you can hire an instructor for beginners. 100 meters from their parking lot, there is a ski slope with a lift, the configuration of which is optimally chosen for initial training and novice skiers. Ski schools are organized regularly.
The next option is the well-known Chepelare and Pamporovo. Their area has slopes of various lengths and difficulties. In Pamporovo there are 15 qualified ski schools that have managed to establish themselves over the last ten years. They have highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors offering professional instruction in groups or individually for beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders.
A large part of them are located in the main ski centers - Ski center 2 - Malina and Ski center 3 - Studenets.
A complete list of licensed schools and instructors can be found on the Pamporovo.me website. The prices for an individual lesson this season are BGN 75 for 1 hour, and for a group of 2-4 people, they are in the range of BGN 63-40. There is the possibility of training for another 2, 3 or 4 hours and for 2 or 3 days of 4 hours in mini groups.
For the youngest skiers (2-4 years old), you can choose a half-day or full-day ski kindergarten.
In the course of the lessons, you will acquire skills such as: basic posture, walking, climbs, types of postures during skating, balance, control during turns and a number of others depending on the level.
