“Trakiets” Complex, near the village of Zhitnitsa, is the fulfilled dream of two 15-year-old sisters who became truly passionate about horseback riding and caring for horses. Cleaning, grooming, and giving treats were only the beginning, and owning their first mare was the first step toward their dream of a magical place with more and more horses.
That’s why the central spot is reserved for the open riding arena, where elegant horses trot and gallop all day, their thick manes flowing as they carry all horse lovers on their saddles. Trakiets Equestrian Base offers horseback or pony rides, as well as lessons for beginners and advanced riders with qualified trainers. There’s also an indoor arena suitable for training during the colder months.
Today, 13 years later, this is the preferred escape for many Plovdiv residents who long to get away from the city’s fast-paced rhythm, where peace and rest are guaranteed.

This year, the pool has been visually refreshed and impresses with its modern design, along with a convenient outdoor bar so cocktails are literally within arm’s reach. A wide selection of refreshing drinks and light snacks are also available in cozy relaxation corners.
We also recommend you don’t miss the restaurant at the equestrian base, which tempts guests with delicious and diverse specialties, with a special emphasis on local recipes prepared with products from regional farmers. It’s also suitable for organizing events of both corporate and personal nature—team buildings, company trainings, birthdays, weddings—with options for outdoor seating on the veranda and in the summer garden, as well as in an indoor air-conditioned hall.

The indoor pool is heated and open year-round, using a unique cleaning technology that avoids the use of chlorine and other harsh chemicals. It’s divided into a children’s area, a jacuzzi area, and massage panels—perfect for unwinding.
