Petya Papazova's Painting Exhibition Lyrical

Petya Papazova is one of the most recognizable and very popular contemporary Bulgarian artists. She is in the first line of artists-poets in painting. Impressive color combined with soft drawing and glowing light takes us into the dream romantic world of every sensual, seeking and inspiring woman surrounded by the not so perfect and even harsh contemporary environment. It seems that a quiet and relaxing music harmonized with the subtle vibrations of the universe sounds from Petya's paintings.

The exhibition will open on June 11th at 6 pm at Art Gallery SIGNA and will be held until July 9.

Symphonic concert-spectacle The Dream of Pilate

Pilate's Dream is a new musical work for a symphony orchestra and choir created by the famous composer of pop and film music, Stefan Dimitrov, inspired by The Master and Margarita of Mikhail Bulgakov. The work, under the leadership of Lyubka Biagioni, and with the participation of Sofia Symphonics Orchestra will be presented for the first time during the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of Europe.

The headlines of the three acts - Aeternitas, Lux Aeterna, and Misericordia Pro Nobis - appeal to associations with other literary classics such as Milton's Paradise Lost, for example, and place the work in the context of the European music heritage. But Dimitrov's music is more than that - it brilliantly translates Bulgakov's spiritual vision into the language of our modern world and gives a fresh, melodic interpretation of the various ideas of good and evil, light and darkness, and the roots of these forces. In his music, Stefan Dimitrov calls the listener to discover the spiritual within themselves, worshiping the invisible forces governing the human life. The project has a distinctly classic sense and structure, but its sound is modern and easy to fit within the market principles of our society. A musical project can be avant-garde and accessible to the general public when it is created by one of the most productive and multi-layered Bulgarian composers.

Two-three beers fest 2018

This celebration of quality beer aims to celebrate the diversity of this sparkling potion with a pleasant company in an urban setting. The first edition of Two-three beers fest with the slogan In the trap of the beer was successfully held at the height of the spring on 20 and 21 May 2017.

This year's second edition of Two-three beers fest will be larger, with even more quality beers. For the good festive mood, there will be different thematic zones, a place for relaxation, musical layout and treats for any feast. The new location will immerse us in the industrial past of the city under the hills - the emblematic Tobacco warehouses.

Two-three Beers Fest is part of the Cultural Calendar of Plovdiv Municipality and is held in support of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019.

The event is in partnership with PodTepeto, Kapana.bg, craft beer bar Cat and Mouse, Plovdiv 2019  Foundation, Philip Morris Bulgaria, Amexis.
