An open day for parents and a special Easter workshop for children will be held over the weekend

This Saturday, all parents from Plovdiv and the region will have the opportunity to attend the Maple Bear Plovdiv Open House. This new school in the village of Markovo is part of the Canadian Maple Bear educational network and is an excellent choice for parents with big dreams who are looking for the best education for their children in a dynamic and rapidly changing world. Applications are now being accepted for preschool groups for 5- and 6-year-olds, as well as for first grade for the 2026-2027 school year.

The meeting, where parents will get answers to all their questions, will take place from 11:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. The Maple Bear Plovdiv team has also prepared a special Easter workshop for children, so they are also welcome to accompany their parents. What are some of the advantages of Maple Bear Plovdiv

"The child must feel the partnership between home and school. Therefore, feedback and active participation of parents from the very beginning are key to being able to meet the needs of each child," said the administrative director Kostadin Bodukov. It is this relationship that underlies Maple Bear Plovdiv's overall approach to education.

In its work, the school emphasizes the development of independent and critical thinking, while at the same time building practical skills for the future - skills that will be valuable for children everywhere in the world. This approach is based on the Canadian education system, which traditionally occupies leading positions in PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), measuring the ability of students to apply their knowledge in real-life situations.

At Maple Bear Plovdiv, education is full-time and takes place in a natural bilingual environment, in which Bulgarian and English are used in parallel. Through daily activities and active communication, children simultaneously acquire knowledge and language, develop confidence and ease in expression from an early age.

To ensure high quality of education, the entire academic team of teachers, directors and coordinators undergoes regular training together with Canadian specialists. This ensures the implementation of best practices and gives Bulgarian children the opportunity to take full advantage of the advantages of the Canadian education system.
