26 years on, Bally Club is still the party destination in the creative district, where you can have fun without thinking too much about it

No posing, no pretensions, but with a good mood – this is our attitude whenever we head to the snug spot that is in a key location between Kapana and Roman Stadium Square.

The legendary Bally Club remains a favorite place of several generations of Plovdiv residents, and we all remember at least one story that happened there to the sounds of club music and remained forever in our hearts as a synonym of true partying. The evenings are often filled with exciting events and tastings dedicated to cocktails and wine, and the party in the warmer months always starts from the pedestrian part of Abadzhiyska Street, where every Friday and Saturday different DJs warm up for the real dance marathon.

The space in front of the bar is the perfect way to blend in with the atmosphere of the cobbled street, which is a bit quieter than the hustle and bustle of the lower part of Kapana, but at the same time it won’t deprive you of the quality experience, the cool music and the great feeling. And at some point, the destination is always clear – up in the club, where the bartenders and the interior may have changed, but the crazy parties until dawn and the adrenaline feeling have remained. The only large balcony in Kapana, which watches the whole district from above, is our preferred spot when we want to take a breath of air with a drink in hand and gather strength for another portion of excellent sound and good mood.

Directly opposite the outdoor tables is the new venture of Bally Club, where they enchant us with an excellent selection of wines and appetizers. Their concept is for Barrel Wine Corner to be a combination between a shop and a restaurant, where visitors can order both to eat in and to take away at any time. The establishment is now open, and the grand opening is planned for June 9.

Just a week later, we will be celebrating 26 years of Bally Club. The traditional event which quite naturally grows into a two-day marathon. On June 16 (Friday), BIG D, popular for his sets and mixtapes dedicated to the modern club sound, will be behind the decks.

And June 17 (Saturday) is the reserved date for C-Fusion, whose music is a combination of Deep, House and Tech sounds, and the result is always an up-to-date and fresh sound. The “birthday boy” will traditionally welcome his guests with a welcome drink, and dancing and entertainment are fully guaranteed.
